Martin - Thank you sir! No problemo on the Masters awards, some awesome talent in the pool this year. I'm glad for those that won...heck, even I voted for Mr. McKay!
Hello Jeff, very nice glass reflection pictures. I like them lots. But I like the third picture most. Very beautiful mood was there. Not sunny but plenty of lights there. Very shoothing in eye. Totaly a different feelings. nice focus on the train.
Hello Jeff!
I must say thank you, your work with Mental Ray is amazing. You've a lot of dedication and your big work is helping to introduce people in this fantastic render engine. I'm one of them and I must say: Thank you!
Jeff,
I didn't get to attend SIGGRAPH but have reviewed your presentation materials which I must say are excellent. I picked up quite a few tips. Thanks for all the hard work. I'm swamped with upcoming projects and would like to get some input/recommendations on freelancers from you if possible. If you send me an email I can send you a link to the type of projects I'm talking about (concept of operations animations for large engineering firms). Thanks,
Dave

Hi Jeff,
My name is Greg Linhares and I’m the Technical 3D Product Visualization Designer for Meyer Sound Laboratories (http://www.meyersound.com) in Berkeley, CA. I was fortunate enough to have been in San Diego for the last day of the 2007 SIGGRAPH Master Classes and was very impressed with all the information you shared with us.
I just wanted to say, “thank you”, and tell you that after becoming extremely inspired by your talk, I downloaded all the presentation materials and have been working on trying to create my own balanced lighting setup. I’ve been searching for some new ways to create a more accurate material reference library for all the loudspeaker models that I frequently work with and you really helped to open a few very important doors for me!
Needless to say, I now have some questions that I would really like to ask you, but have not been able to find your email address listed anywhere. Is there any way that I might be able to contact you in order to clarify a few things from your presentation materials, or is this blog the best and preferred method?
