surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet......fantastic work on the gnomonology video. The best $$ I have spent in a long time, I highly recommend it......and! I'm waiting for the next 1!
Hi Jeff,
I'm buying right now your video tutorial (Vehicle rendering in 3ds Max 2009) at gnomonology.com, and it's looks like amazing!! thanks for that!
hi jeff, recently i play with participating media in mentalray.. i've read your pdf for parti and the result is satisfying but volumetric caustic not showing.. i have assigned parti volume photon, and enable cauistic.. can u explain some?
Hi Jeff-the latest Corvette images are awesome! Why can't you live near NJ? ;-) These are some of the best car renders I've seen around. (and I've been looking at A LOT of resumes and samples)
Marcelo JR: Thank you for your support & kind words. I hope the video was useful.
Jonas: Cool! I'm sure you'll find some helpful information/tips in there. I know I did.
cayocayo: Not sure, it could be any number of things. I'd turn off the volume stuff and
ensure the caustics work first. Then bring in the volumetric effects.
Darlene: HEY! Thank you. If I lived near NJ you guys would be located in California...that's how my luck runs! Sounds like you've had a lot of responses there! Hopefully the economy will pick up soon and things will get busy again for us all.
I'll pass on the BMW models-haha. BUT if you get hold of a nice Dodge Challenger, let me know. ;-) I've been fancying those, Camaro concept, and Mustangs lately.
