I know that it works well on maya with mental ray, have You faced this problem on 3ds max 2008?? I didn't find similar shader on 3ds max. Can You help?? April 20, 2008. 14:08PM name: JeffPatton entry: Zazaar - Are you referring to the mia_lens_bokeh shader? If so, I haven't encountered any problems with using it in 3ds Max. Of course in 3ds Max 2008 it's hidden by default in the architectural_max.mi file for those that don't know about it. So you'd have to un-hide it before it'll work in 3ds Max 2008. April 23, 2008. 23:08PM name: JeffPatton entry: Some mental ray shaders are hidden in max for various reasons. For example, perhaps they aren't supported by 3ds Max/Autodesk (yet).
